Silicone coated fabrics Silicone-Coated Fiberglass Fabrics are made from the composite of woven fiberglass yarn and good silicone rubber with properties of resisting high temperatures of around 260 ºC ( 260 ºC is for the silicone coating while 300-350 ºC for fiberglass) , waterproofing and being durable to often-changing environments . Silicone-coated Fiberglass Fabrics are mostly used in the production of Welding Curtains which are used to shield molten metal splashes from welding and cutting, welding blankets and covers to protect equipment from molten metal splashes. Without this protective cover, equipment may be damaged or harmed by the molten metal splash. Also, the silicone-coated fiberglass Fabrics are also used in the production of parts of Removable Insulation Jackets or the so-called Insulation Cover.
